Défilés on line Givenchy by Ozwald Boateng ...at the Gymnase Japy A mint-green tuxedo with black lapels, a gold leather
bomber jacket with matching tie, a transparent striped black polo shirt,
a Querelle de Brest tank top… For his third Givenchy Homme collection,
Ozwald Boateng, known for his sharp, classic cuts, seems to allow himself
a few, slightly schizophrenic asides. With his striking colour matches
– pepper red and saffron yellow, stark white on spicy browns –
and jean cum dressy jacket mismatches, the British designer sticks to
his project: revising and modernising “les Français”,
better known for their shabby classicism than their sartorial sharpness. Denyse Beaulieu Press : Claus ESTERMANN, Sophie DA FONSECA
