Défilés on line Bless Denyse Beaulieu / pictures : Catherine Thiry Once again, Ines Kaag and Desiree Heiss infiltrate public
spaces – their spring-summer presentation re-created Berlin street
scenes in the Carrousel du Louvre – by inviting themselves into
a Paris 10th arrondissement restaurant, where their models acted as waitresses.
On this conceptual backdrop, clothes conceived for a grass-roots community
resisting a post-nuclear winter, with multiple uses and transformable
shapes: the Bless strategy, inspired by alternative culture, is to move
their research on clothing forward, until it exceeds the confines of fashion
while playing the fashion game. Just barely. |
